I have my Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a Minor in Sociology from the University of Connecticut. I have a Master of Science degree in School Counseling from Central Connecticut State University. I have a post- Masters Professional Counseling certification. My work in the field of education for over ten years is fulfilling and rewarding. I enjoy helping others. I am an Usui Reiki Master and an Animal Reiki Practitioner. I am certified in Integrated Energy Therapy. I have my Level 1 Certification in the Emotional Freedom Technique. I love my home and I adore my four cats. My cats truly enjoy the energy work that I provide for them. I enjoy yoga, staying fit and fully integrating health and wellness into my life, vegetable gardening, reading, meditation, mindfulness, and being outdoors while enjoying the beauty of nature. I have an Angels of the Healing Energy Field Certificate of Completion. Throughout the years, I have taken meditation courses and I have been a part of local meditation groups. Some continuing education classes that I have taken include: Emotional Freedom Technique, Chakra Studies, Nutrition, Aromatherapy, and Kundalini Yoga. I actively participate in gentle, restorative, and power yoga. I am a lifelong learner who celebrates life. I am always looking to expand on my skills and experiences. I am a member of the CT Counseling Association & the CT School Counseling Association. I am also an active member of the Holistic Community of Professionals. I volunteered my time at a no kill animal sanctuary. I am a kind, caring, friendly, professional woman looking to help share my skills and talents with other people and their animals.
